someone esle expectations

Some times peoples expectations are too much or just what you need. For me my dad had high expectations for me to do good in wrestling. He was runner-up his senior year in prep school in PA. Then in college he did very well to. He also placed in states while he was in college. So he expected me to do good. So from the age of 5 on I was on some wrestling team or another. I wanted to wrestle so it was fine. But in 10th grade I was thinking about quitting the wrestling team but with my dad’s expectation and a kick in the ass from him I stayed on the team and was glad I did. My senior year I almost went to states but blow my knee out. I ended up having three knee surgery’s but its all good because I was one match from States. That means I would have been top 16 in the state. With his high expectation and not letting me quit  showed me that when things get hard for you or your coach is pushing you to get better don’t quit just keep going and some good will come out of it. Some times people have expectations that are to high most people think. It might just be you are not willing to push that hard to get there is what I think. Some time there are expectations that are to high, but most of the time its you don’t want it or your not willing to work for it.

This was an emotional topic. Your writing showed some of the ways that emotion can trip us up – all running together and not as clear as usual. Good for a first draft. Practice going back and clarifying and “cleaning up” your writing. Strong emotion is a great motivator, but we need to continue to work with it to make it really strong writing.
